We plan the start our ride from the Brisbane area, as that is where Scott's sister lives.  From there we are heading south, hopefully to get the southern part of Australia done before winter sets in and therefore giving time in the Northern Territory and Northern Queensland to dry out a bit after the wet. That's the theory anyway.

The Bikes

 These are the bikes that we will be riding around Australia, KLR 650's, have got them all organised and will pick them up when we get there on the 3rd, just got to put some racks on them to fit our panniers and we will be away.

Thought we had a month to go, but Scott decided to go earlier.  Had been checking out the flight prices and they got more expensive over the Easter/school holiday period so had decided to go about the 17th but now have booked tickets for the 3rd, woo hoo, not  much time, lots of things to organise
